Description

This session will provide engaging activities to support math learning. This hands-on session will offer activities that support young children with emerging foundational mathematic concepts. Participants will engage in games, and with practical materials that are based on content standards form the National Council on Teachers of Mathematics. The purpose of the Educare program is to improve the quality of child care and early learning programs. Educare provides resources, technical assistance, and training opportunities to child care providers who care for children receiving Child Care Subsidy, with an emphasis on family home providers. Resources and trainings are free. Educare funding is provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children's Division, Early Childhood Section.The Mid-America Regional Council administors the Educare program in Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in partnership with the Local Investment Commission, The Family Conservancy, MCC-Penn Valley and Start at Zero.
