OBECTIVES • Assisting the Lead Technician and Shop Manager with any duties from cleaning the shop to aiding in repairs on equipment • Responds to repair issues in the field and resolves or make recommendations regarding repairs • Run T & T Store and Rental processes and paperwork KEY ACTIVITIES • Provide quick response to all requests from the Facility Manager and GFS • Fix and repair equipment and tools as needed • Assist with scheduled and preventative maintenance of all equipment, tools and trucks to minimize downtime • Ensure crew truck and tools are working, clean, organized and safe • Maintain a safe, professional and organized shop • Oversee the restocking and organization of the entire shop and jobsite tool boxes • Ensure that all Rental Store tools and equipment are functioning and maintained • Organize and clean shop and shop truck • Make field service calls and visits as needed, sometimes with a 16ft trailer • Address safety concerns immediately to Facility Manager and GFS • Any or all other duties assigned by the Facility Manager or GFS KEY INTERACTIONS • General Field Superintendent – daily • Facility Manager – daily • Shop Helpers - daily REQUIREMENTS Behavioral Trait, Attitude and Skill Requirements: • Ability to show up everyday on time • Unwavering commitment to safety • Maintains a positive attitude • Attention to detail and persistence in follow up • Achievement oriented - Self starter who is self motivated • Desire to gain knowledge and develop skills to improve work performance • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Hard worker who is dedicated to quality • Sense of urgency in repairing and maintaining equipment • Professional, even under pressure • High degree of integrity and honesty • Good sense of logic/common sense and flexibility. • Flexibility to manage constant change – multi-tasking • Ability to identify issues and resolve them quickly and effectively • Work well with others • Very organized with a passion for “neatness” Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds • Must be able to bend and crawl as needed • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours a day • Must be able to work in the heat and cold • Must speak English, Spanish is a plus EXPERIENCE • Basic mechanical knowledge is a must • Welding experience a plus • Must have a valid TX driver's license • Must be of legal USA immigration status • Must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn
