TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Tampa just before 5 a.m. Monday. The sheriff's office said deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 4500 block of Clifton Street and found a man dead. At this time, detectives believe the shooting was the result of an argument between the shooter and the victim. "Our detectives are currently piecing together the moments that led up to this man's death," said Hillsborough County Sheriff, Chad Chronister. "This type of violence will not be tolerated in Hillsborough County." The shooter is in custody.
