Press release from the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA: Oct. 6, 2021 Join the Greater Ridgecrest YMCA as we honor Breast Cancer survivors with a day of fun activities, including a walk, run, brunch, and raffle! Guest speakers include breast cancer survivor(s) and medical professionals from local cancer treatment centers in both traditional and alternative medicine. All proceeds from this year's event will be used to fund the Y's branch's LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program so that we can offer more support for the citizens of Ridgecrest on their road to wellness after being affected by cancer. LIVESTRONG is a FREE 12-week physical activity program designed with the goal of getting cancer survivors back on their feet after diagnosis and treatment. FEES: Pre-Registration Fee: $25 (includes entry, shirt, brunch, raffle ticket & survivor swag) Event Day Fee: $30 (includes entry, brunch and raffle ticket) Line dance lessons throughout the event with extended dance time after brunch is served.
