BOSTON — The Boston Fire Investigation Unit is actively working to determine the cause of a two-alarm fire on multiple floors of an 8 story building Monday night. Firefighters and emergency crews responded to a reported fire at 165 Kneeland Street in Boston around 7:30 p.m. Once crews surveyed the scene they determined the fire had spread to multiple floors across the 8 story steam plant building and a second alarm was ordered. Multiple companies were able to quickly put out the fire. Firefighters say there were no injuries to report. Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire. Companies were able to quickly knock down the fire . There were no injuries to report and The Boston Fire Investigation Unit is on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
