NORWALK, CT — Election Day is approaching fast, and a number of key positions in town will be on the ballot. To help readers make an informed decision on Nov. 2, Patch has reached out to local candidates to share their views on a few topics. Republican Luis Estrella, 34, is running for Common Council (District A) in Norwalk. Occupation: Executive Director Of Cleaner Connecticut Coalition Family: AnaVivian (37), Liliana and Sopha (1) Experience: None Family in government: No The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it: The divisive political climate. I intend on being receptive, listening and working with everyone for the benefit of the city. Critical differences between me and my opponents: One critical difference between myself and other candidates is knowledge of Norwalk and its community. I'm a 20+ years resident of this wonderful city and have seen many changes. Accomplishments: I don't have any accomplishments that I can cite as evidence that I can handle the job, but many people that have had ample experience haven't done too great of a job so let's try something different Other issues: Unity and balanceInfrastructure improvementsConservation and environmental advocacyA better quality of lifeCommunity safety What else would you like voters to know about you?
