NEWARK, NJ — A store in Newark sold a ticket for the Monday, Oct. 4 Powerball lottery drawing worth $50,000, officials say. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, winning a $50,000 third-tier prize, New Jersey Lottery officials said. It was sold at Victoria's Supermarket 1 on Broad Street. The winning numbers for the Monday, October 4, drawing were: 12, 22, 54, 66, and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 15. The Multiplier number was 02. Four other New Jersey players won $50,000 in the drawing. The tickets were sold at: Krauszer's Food Store, 394 Ramapo Valley Rd., Oakland Country Farm, 224 Washington St., Boonton Quick Chek #162, 1435 Route 23 South, Butler Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Tpke., Hewitt A California Lottery ticketholder won a $699.8 million Powerball jackpot from the Oct. 4, drawing. It was the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot on record, and the first jackpot won in a Monday drawing.
