By John Gibson, WNIN Oct. 5, 2021 Amusement rides are being set up as the West Side Nut Club gears up for its first festival since 2019 on W. Franklin St. Officials cancelled last year's festival due to the pandemic and this year, more than two dozen not-for-profit food vendors have backed out of the event. The festival did conduct its popular half-pot drawing as a drive-through event in 2020. This year, tickets for the drawing will be at walk-up booths along Franklin Street. The winner will be drawn on the final night of the week-long festival, Saturday, October 9th. The fest's Family Day is Sunday afternoon. The event begins in earnest on Monday.
