Description
ASBURY PARK, NJ – Voters in Monmouth County that are mailing in their ballots for the general election in November will have 35 ballot drop-off boxes all over the county to choose from, including one in Asbury Park.
Asbury Park voters can drop off their ballots at the drop-box located at the city hall outside of the city council's chambers near the Bangs Avenue entrance.
To vote by mail, voters must first complete a Vote by Mail Ballot Application, which you can find on the County Clerk's Elections webpage.
"Voting by mail provides a simple and convenient way to vote early," Monmouth County Clerk Christine Hanlon said in a statement.
"It is important to remember that any registered voter can vote by mail for any reason. Every valid vote cast by mail will be included in the election results, so residents do not have to worry that their vote will not be counted."
There isn't a municipal election this year in Asbury Park. Still, three candidates are running for the three openings on the Asbury Park Board of Education, current board member Kenneth Saunders Jr., Jessie M. Ricks, and Ladina Alls.
Election Day is on Nov. 2, and keep reading Patch for all of your Election 2021 coverage.
