Location: St John's Episcopal Church Parish hall is located near the parking lot. Parking is free along the side of the church off Wisconsin Avenue.
The American Scandinavian Association ASA is honored to host Mr. Lars-Erik Tindre, Head of the Section for Public Diplomacy, Culture, and Communication at the Swedish Embassy, Washington, D.C. Mr. Tindre will address the topic "Swedish Public Diplomacy in the United States: Key Priorities for the Swedish Embassy." He will also reflect on areas where Sweden and the Swedes differ from other countries.
Mr. Tindre joined the Swedish foreign service in 2001 and was posted in Hungary as Deputy Chief of Mission and in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Prior to his posting in D.C., Mr. Tindre served as Marshal of the Court, Head of His Majesty the King of Sweden's household, responsible for the King's official duties. His responsibilities also included planning official programs for their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia.
