Learn the basics of needle felting to make animal ornaments! Crafts and Drafts classes are back at Parsons North Brewing Company! I'll be hosting a series of holiday-themed craft workshops all season. Sip handcrafted brews and cocktails as you craft with friends! Get your holiday season started with this felted woodland animal workshop. You'll learn the basics of needle felting as you shape and form natural wool roving with special needles, creating an animal with a unique expression. If you want your animal to wear a sweater, you’ll learn some hand sewing techniques as well. You’ll end up with a four-inch animal that can be a holiday ornament or can work as year-round whimsical decor. For adults and teens. Parsons North will be offering drink specials, and there will be a food truck on site. $20, includes all the supplies you'll need to design one ornament. Class size is limited and spaces fill fast! My art and crafts classes offer hands-on, quality instruction that encourages creativity and sets you up for success. I teach crafts classes in bars and community centers and offer workshops in-house art parties. My classes are a fun, social way to get together and make something in a low-pressure environment. With a teaching license in art education, I'm prepared to teach to a variety of audiences and offer a wide scope of teaching techniques, ensuring one-on-one positive instruction that helps you learn new media in a fun and casual setting.
