WET's 2021 Annual Dinner & Silent Auction will be held Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at SU's Guerrieri Hall Academic Commons, 6-9 p.m. Wicomico Environmental Trust is excited to present its 2021 Annual Dinner, Awards & Silent Auction at Salisbury University's Guerrieri Hall Academic Commons on Friday, Nov. 5. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30. Our keynote speaker is Hilary Harp Falk, National Wildlife Federation's Chief Program Officer. Hilary grew up amidst the waters, forests and wildlife of the Chesapeake Bay. Following college and graduate school, she began her career as an educator at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Today, as chief program officer for the National Wildlife Federation, Hilary leads all the Federation's conservation and education programs throughout the United States. She is also a champion for women's leadership and advancing equity in the conservation movement. She will speak on "Redefining Conservation: Meeting the Needs of People and Wildlife in the 21st Century." Individual tickets are available for purchase at $60 each. Our featured speaker is Hilary Harp Falk, seen above as a child driving a boat with environmental reporter and author Tom Horton at her side. Falk grew up amidst the waters, forests and wildlife of the Chesapeake Bay, where she developed a passion that shaped her future. Today Falk is the chief program officer for the National Wildlife Federation, leading all the Federation's conservation and education programs across the United States.
