A unique Tequila tasting experience brought to you by Whistle Pig Brewing Join us Wednesday, October 13 for a discovery of Tequila. Whistle Pig Brewing and PKGD Group have teamed up to provide a tasting experience that will make you rethink what you know about Tequila, how you drink Tequila, and will make you wonder why you ever shot it in the first place. At 6 pm enjoy a special Tequila cocktail as you enjoy catered deliciousness from the Uncommons by Kula. Let the fresh citrus of the fresh poured Paloma complement the food as you relax and prepare for your Tequila journey. At 6:30 class begins and the journey to a new love and appreciation for the complexities and wonderful flavor of Tequila. Join us as expert Melissa Ray leads us on an exploration of the different varieties and offerings as we are introduced to and savor 4 hand-selected Tequilas. Learn what an Anejo is and how it is different from Reposado. What is silver? What is gold? What are signature flavors of each. There is so much to experience! An exclusive server will be on hand to serve Palomas, beers, wine, and other Tequila cocktails throughout the session. School concludes at 7:30 with your choice of a Tequila cocktail, a beer, water, or wine compliments of your host, Whistle Pig Brewing. Whistle Pig likes to surprise and impress, look for a little something special along with a bottle giveaway that is sure to get your attention and be a boon to your collection. All of this for only $30. We are a community oriented brewery located in the Patty Jewett and Bonneville neighborhoods of downtown Colorado Springs.
