Art + Rollerskating Welcome To Rainbow Dome! This is our first pop-up art + roller skating experience! Join us at Centennial Center Park on October 9th, 2021. Rainbow Dome is a collaboration between artists Therin Zimmerman and Frankie Toan that merges their art practices with the concept of a roller skating rink. For safety and pleasure, only 30 skate slots are available every 30 minutes. Inclined to skate for an hour? Sign-up for consecutive time slots. Adult Skate Rental is $4, Kids and Bring-Your-Own-Skates are free, please reserve a time along with your skate size! Families welcome, though we ask that children are supervised while skating. DISCLAIMER: Skating outside presents extra risks, such as uneven surfaces. Roller skating is at your own risk. All participants who skate will have to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk form upon arrival. ACCESS INFO: Centennial Center Park is accessible. Event will be located at the Plaza, a short travel along a paved pathway that is a downhill grade from the parking lot. Accessible restrooms available onsite, designated Men and Women. Covered seating and picnic tables onsite.Music will be playing throughout event.We are using a flash polaroid camera for the photo booth, but no other flashing lights or strobes will be present.Water fountain onsite as well as non-alcoholic beverages and snacks available for sale. Skate Aids available upon request at skate rental.There will be an art installation in the middle of the skate area. Skaters will be skating in a circle around the installation, and there will be a 6 foot wide one-way "tunnel" through the middle of this installation that skaters can skate through. There will be at least 1 experienced skater on the skate surface at all times to offer assistance on the skate surface. Join us at 1pm to experience the installation without skates.
