Celebrate Mason's New President A Presidential Investiture at George Mason University Special Event Join the Sci Tech Campus Community in celebrating the Investiture of Dr. Gregory Washington as Mason's eighth president at our upcoming "Breakfast with the Washington's" event. All students, staff, faculty, and Sci Tech community members are invited to Katherine Johnson Hall for a breakfast where we will greet Dr. and Mrs. Washington with fanfare, music, and an celebration. Wear your Mason Green and Gold to show your school spirit. We will be collecting items for the Patriot Pantry and Transgender Closet at the event. Pre-registration is required – RSVP today! Event participants must complete Mason COVID Health Check and receive a “green light” status on the day of the event. Event organizers must perform a spot check of roughly 20 percent of attendees to verify a green status during check-in. University administration is closely monitoring the status of COVID-19 and the impact of variants. To maintain safety for all, event plans may be modified if circumstances warrant.
