On Monday, October 11 from 6-9PM at ArtFront Galleries, Newark Pride Alliance and Circle of Friends will be hosting a coming out day event, "SANKOFA: A Promise Unkept and Conversation of Renewal, Justice, and Revitalization." This special event will include a panel discussion with C. Alicia Heath-Toby, Tyra Gardner, Gary Paul Wright, moderated by Cheryl Clarke, performances by Empress Vizcaya, Travis Love, Daryl Stewart, and the presentation of student awards. Free and open to all.
