The Arlington Police Department & St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church will be hosting Peace and Pumpkins, a pumpkin decorating event, as apart of National Faith and Blue Weekend. On October 9th, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Arlington MA kids are invited to come to St. Athanasius The Great Greek Church to decorate mini pumpkins to bring home! The Arlington Police Department is organized by three major divisions to best serve the needs of the community.The Community Services Division: This division is tasked with effectively deploying all uniformed and patrol personnnel, including the Patrol Division, Community Services Officer, Traffic Unit, K-9 Unit, Bicycle Unit, and Animal Control.Support Services Division: This division is tasked with supporting the Community Services Division as well as administrative functions of the entire department and includes the Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB), Training Unit, Records Bureau, Details & Licensing, and 9-1-1 Community Safety.Professional Standards Division: This division is charged with maintaining the developing department policies and procedures and works to ensure all personnel maintain a high level of professional standards.
