TAKE THE NIGHT is back! Welcome to Portland's only alley cat style race. Randomly assigned teams, no route, and maximum fun. We've thrown out the play book this year, with no set route, hit the checkpoints, and you'll be assigned a teammate. How it works: - Each person signs up individually, then gets randomly assigned a teammate right before the race. - Pre-race meeting at 6:30PM, Saturday Nov 6th at Novare Res. Race starts at 7:00PM. Race finishes at Novare Res. - Teams will be given checkpoints at the pre-race meeting. Theres two legs for each team, each leg has different check points. All teams have to hit all the check points to finish. - Theres no set route but it has to be run. No bikes, cars, or wheels involved. Each runner will run around 3-5 miles per leg. - First place team and a randomly picked team will get the split of the cash pot. - RSVP costs: $15 to sign up in advance, if you show up then $10 will be refunded to you after the race. If you don't show up there will be no refunds. $15 if you sign up on race day, no refunds. You'll be emailed further instructions to pay after RSVP'ing here. - Each runner has to wear a headlamp / reflective gear. You assume all risks involved by signing up.
