Matheson is looking for Ground Handlers for our Austin, TX location. APPLY HERE: As a Ground Handler, you will operate ground handling equipment for the loading/unloading of an international cargo aircraft, including cargo and belt loaders, lift trucks, ramp tractors, and aircraft loading systems. You will load/unload palletized freight using deck loaders, belly loaders, tugs, and forklifts to transport it between aircraft and airport terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft. You will be expected to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags. The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet and work quickly in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and effective approach to high-stress situations and communicating with team members in a positive, cooperative manner.
