Time: 9am-12noon REI Sponsored All Hands On Deck For Stoney Trash Clean ups! Get ready for a Summit Clean Up! Meet: At the Sign Location: Topanga Canyon Blvd Chatsworth, CA 91311 United States It’s now time to keep things moving at our beloved Stoney Point Park. The Face and Summit are filled with glass, trash, micro plastic and miscellaneous items left on our trails and near our beautiful sandstone rocks. The trash and graffiti take away from the beauty we see here, the rock formations and the land we all walk on. Let’s get a bag and a bucket and get to work! We will have Trash Bags, Gloves and Some Trash Sticks for you to borrow in exchange for your car keys, you may also donate a trash stick to help keep our trash clean up efforts going. We will focus on the summit of Stoney, we will use tools to careful separate the glass from the environment and carefully search for trash in low and high places. This is a perfect opportunity to get some volunteer work done with positive vibes!
