Starting a Serious Rock Band with a Big Vision

I want to start a band with 3 or 4 other musicians who are like-minded, artistic and burning to creating original new music with a heavy rock sound. I have a solid vision for this and with the right group, it has the potential to be something really good. ABOUT ME: Total music fanatic. I play guitar, sing, and have other skills as a recording engineer/sound designer. My list of influences is quite long, but would include bands like Baroness, Mastodon, Smashing Pumpkins, and Rush. I compose songs and have written a full album of material to get this project kicked off. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: Drummer, bassist, and guitarists who can play and write (or at least contribute to the writing process.) Big plus if you also sing as I would prefer a multi-vocalist band. Would LOVE to have a female voice join, but I'm not going to be particular about gender or age or anything like that. What I care most about is your creative energy and drive. Here's a short list of goals I want to accomplish: (1) Find common interests as people and musicians to establish a foundation for the group (2) Learn current written material and develop into a high-level live performance act (3) Record a full-length album (4) Write new material together as a band If this sounds interesting to you, let's talk. Tell me a bit about yourself, what music you like, what you play, etc. A sample of your music (playing an instrument, vocals, songs you've written, etc) would be great, but not absolutely necessary. If things seem like a good fit, we can meet up in person and discuss things. NOTE: For obvious reasons, I must insist that all applicants be fully vaccinated and wear masks during the initial meeting. If you're unwilling to comply with this, please do not apply.
