Beginning Swing is offered Thursdays from 6-7pm starting October 21, 2021 at 860 Western Avenue in Petaluma. INTRODUCING Vintage, American Swing Dance! Enjoy American Swing of the Golden Era with Jasmine Worrell. If you are new to swing dancing this 4-week series is for you. Swing is a fun social dance that is an instantly accessible way to enjoy social dancing to swing jazz, blues and rock and roll music. Come learn how to swing dance with a beautiful community of students of all ages. Swing dance originates from Lindy Hop, the original swing dance from the 1930's, which was first developed in the ballrooms of Harlem to Big Band Jazz music. Enjoy this fun and playful partner dance! Absolutely no partner or experience needed. Beginning Swing is a 4-series which starts on Thursday, October 21. Classes are progressive, therefore every week within that series, we build upon the moves taught in the previous class. Sign yourself up and maybe a friend if you wish + bring a pair of flat comfy shoes. We promise to offer a GREAT time! INTERMEDIATE SWING CLASS - THURSDAYS New, progressive 4-week Intermediate Swing dance class series starts Oct 21.
