Happy Fall! Here's a reminder of the important programs we have coming up in October.Saturday, Oct. 9, 9am - 1pm, Household Hazardous Waste Event at Middlesex Community College, upper parking lot. Please put waste in your trunk or the back of your vehicle. Saturday, Oct. 16, 12noon - 3pm, Repair Cafe and Swap Event at Dekoven House, 27 Washington Street. Items for swapping can be dropped off starting at 10am. Only small items allowed: craft supplies, fabric, home decor, Halloween costumes, holiday decorations and small tools. Repairs begin at noon. We'll have expert fixers for jewelry, computers, small electronical items, toys, bikes, clothing and other sewing items, and more. Limited knife sharpening will be available. Refreshments will be served. All covid protocols will be followed. Saturday, Oct. 23, 9am - 11am, Middletown only paper shred event, at Palmer Field parking lot. Limit: 5 boxes or bags per vehicle.
