Man In Custody After SWAT Standoff In Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, TX — One man is in custody after barricading himself at a Round Rock home on Sunday. Police responded to a barricaded subject call around 8:53 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Buckskin Drive, which is near Hesters Crossing Shopping Center. Round Rock police's SWAT team was immediately called to the scene. By 9:15 a.m., officers were able to take the man in custody and clear the area. During the call, residents in the immediate area were asked to stay indoors and that drivers should avoid the area. Police said there was no threat to the public during the incident. 9:15AM Update: One adult male subject is in custody. The scene on Buckskin Drive is secure.
