The Koma Kulshan Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society regularly holds educational seminars--free and open to the public! We are currently hosting our monthly meetings online.
We continue the fall celebration of seeds and fruit with a deeper dive into the subject, focusing mostly on native species. Two long-time members of the chapter will go over the general classification of fruits, followed by a more in-depth look at mechanisms of seed dispersal, seed dormancy, and seed germination. They will use mostly native species as examples, and you can expect some useful tips on growing native plants from seed.
Join us for this informative and fun webinar, hosted on Zoom.
