Here are the top stories in Providence today: One of the two men shot in Providence over the weekend has died. Niberto Diaz, 21, and Samuel Corcoran, 29, were shot while sitting in a car outside an apartment complex on Glasgow Street early Sunday morning. Both men were rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition. Diaz did not survive. (WPRI.com) Providence College sent a warning to students on Friday, after a group of students was robbed and assaulted in the city. The group was walking near Tyndall Avenue and Chad Brown Street when a group of males approached them, according to the warning. The males, ages ranging from 16-19 years old, punched and kicked the students.
