Looking for people to participate in Jury Research/Focus Groups to be held in Boulder, CO (exact location to be disclosed at time of selection) on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm, and Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 5pm-7pm. Compensation is $75, for two hours of your time. All backgrounds/professions welcome and no prior focus group experience necessary. We are looking for a varied group of people based on a number of different factors, therefor we need your answers to the following questions: 1. Age 2. Sex 3. Occupation 4. Race 5. Describe your political orientation. Would you describe yourself as very liberal, somewhat liberal, moderate, somewhat conservative, or very conservative? 6. Religion 7. Are you a US Citizen? If not, where are you from? 8. Have you ever served on a jury? If so, what type of case? 9. Have you ever participated in a jury research project or focus group? If so, what type? This is not an invitation to participate; however, it is an invitation to see if you qualify to participate. Depending on the number of responses we may or may not be able to contact all interested participants. Please note this focus group is virtual. You must have an iPad or computer with which to participate. Participating with a cell phone will not work. We must be able to see and hear you clearly. You may not participate in both scheduled groups, so please indicate in your response which date works best for you. Payment will be made via Pay Pal or Venmo. Payment will be sent at the completion of the focus group. A confidentiality agreement will be signed prior to the start of the group.
