PALATINE, IL — A man was pronounced dead Saturday morning after police and a bystander pulled him out from underneath a vehicle, officials told Patch.
The 36-year-old has not yet been identified.
Palatine Fire Department responded to the call of a person stuck under a car at around 10:50 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived, a police officer and a bystander had worked together to get the person out of the car.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
