HOLLAND, PA — A meeting devoted to the discussion of a proposed Wawa in Holland will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. The main agenda item on the docket is consideration of preliminary and final plan of subdivision and land development for the Wawa proposed by developer Provco Pinegood. The property is located at 287 Holland Road, between Buck and Rocksville roads. The 5,585 square foot development would house a large gas canopy and multiple pumps, as well as a Wawa store. At a meeting in June, residents expressed concerns about air pollution, noise pollution, and loitering they fear the development might encourage. The special meeting to discuss further was originally scheduled for July, and will now take place this week. The Northampton Township Administration Building will have limited capacity in the public meeting room, and will provide overflow seating in the nearby small meeting room. The meeting will also be broadcast live on the Northampton Township cable channel, website, and YouTube channel, with opportunities for remote public comment by sending an email to [email protected]. Those who want to send a public email should: Submit an email to [email protected] starting 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. Reference the agenda item(s) being commented on in the subject line.Put their name and address of residence in the body of the email.Limit the length of any questions or comments to 300 words.
