LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports: Playground equipment at Cossitt Elementary School, 115 W. Cossitt Ave., was damaged with graffiti using "inappropriate phrases." The damage was reported about 8:30 a.m. Sept. 26. Damage to a front door of a house occurred between Sept. 24 and Sept. 27 in the 100 block of East Avenue. The door appeared to have been damaged by the use of force, but it was unknown what type of force. The incident was listed as an attempted burglary.David Lopez, 24, of Woodridge, was cited about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at La Grange Road and Richmond Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and expired registration. Andrea Ponton, 33, of Countryside, was cited about 5:30 a.m. Sept. 27 at Hillgrove and Stone avenues on charges of driving without a license and speeding. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
