OREGON CITY — Pilots have been known to joke that given enough space, anything can be a runway. That proved true when a plane performed an emergency landing over the weekend, coming to stop in the backyard of a home by the Oregon City Golf Course. Clackamas Fire crews were on scene quickly and were relieved to find there were no serious injuries. Live in Oregon City? The pilot of the small, single engine plane was treated and released at the scene while the plane's passenger was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Investigators will figure out what went wrong.
