OREGON CITY, OR — Three hundred and eighty four pounds of methamphetamines. That's a lot of meth. So much so that it amounts to the largest seizure of the drug in Oregon's history.
The U.S. Attorney on Monday announced charges against 47-year-old Martin Manzo-Negrete. He's also known as Javier Cardenas-Manzo and was actually arrested on September 15,2021.
He's charged with possession with intent to distribute. Federal officials say that the nearly 400 pounds is worth more than #1 million on the street.

Officials say that Manzo-Negrete was the leader of an organization that distributed the drug in Oregon and California. Four other people were arrested and charged with him.
Agents also seized 14 firearms, some of which had been stolen, and more than $76,000 in cash.
