FREMONT, CA — The 29th Annual Festival of India will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday. It is considered the premier South Asian festival in the Bay Area and has been a cultural mainstay in the community. It is hosted by the Federation of Indo-Americans of Northern California (FIA) and sponsored by the City of Fremont. The venue is the Fremont Court House Parking Lot, 39439 Paseo Padre Parkway. Walnut Avenue will be closed between Paseo Padre Parkway and Liberty Street in both directions from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Learn more.
