CLEVELAND — Last week, the 8th District Court of Appeals ruled that a Cleveland man could not sue his now-wife, Judy Khoury, after he tripped on her shoes and fell down a set of stairs. The judges noted that Khoury's shoes were "obvious" and her husband, John Walworth, should have spotted them if he was taking proper precautions. Walworth attempted to sue his wife for $80,000. Walworth broke multiple bones during the tumble, according to cleveland.com. Live in Cleveland? Click here to subscribe to our free breaking news alerts delivered to your inbox and mobile devices. In what was surely a strange year for the couple, Walworth filed his lawsuit against Khoury in 2019, the same year the couple were married. The duo are still married, according to cleveland.com.
