Description
I need about six people tomorrow to come help with the preparation of an climate change art project on the National Mall. The main part of the job will be to fill Mason Jars with various meaningful items (money, sand, water, ashes) to signify different things about the threat of climate change.
If this is something you'd find interesting, you'll need to show up at 3:00 p.m. near the corner of Maryland Ave NE and F Street NE. We'll assemble all the mason jars there then they'll be driven for us from that location to the installation site on the National Mall, where you guys will help us install them in a grid pattern on the mall itself.
The job pays $25 per hour per person and we expect that it will take at least 2 hours, and possibly 3 - but everyone will make at least $50 for showing up even if we finish before 2 hours. And if we continue on past 2 hours, the amount will be prorated -- i.e. 2.5 hours = $62.50 and so on.
You *MUST* have reliable transportation to be able to drive from the place where we'll fill the jars to the National Mall. We'll take care of parking on the mall -- there will be no cost to you there.
If you are interested in the gig, just tell me a little bit about yourself, and we'll be right back in touch if we are able to hire you for the gig.
