Job Description (Full Time) : Based in Kansas City, Precision Concrete Cutting (PCC), is a well-established company (2010) that specializes in sidewalk repair services both in Kansas and Missouri. We are looking for a professional to work as a full-time technician in the construction field. Your responsibility will be to repair sidewalk trip hazards for municipalities and private clients. This is a physically demanding job - it includes handling power tools (concrete saw cutting), carrying and maintaining heavy equipment, taking care of paperwork, ensuring safety, auditing jobs, driving, etc. Generally, you will make sure the company is well represented in the field and the quality of the work meets the company’s standards. Duties include: •Surveying: incorporating smart phone technology, PCC technicians are responsible for surveying various job sites. Duties include measuring the trip hazards and identify repair locations for bid. •Cutting: remove hazards that have been previously identified, using a portable generator and PCC’s patented trip hazard removal process. Maintenance: maintaining equipment (generators, saws, blowers, and vacuum systems)to PCC quality. Qualifications: •At least 18 years old •Must have the ability to travel 20-30% overnight •Driver’s License •High School Diploma or equivalent •Healthy •Mechanically inclined and experience working with power tools, portable generators, and related equipment. •Proficient at basic math and computer skills. Compensation: •Upon successful completion of PCC’s 2-week training program, candidates starting salary = $21.00 per hour. Performance reviewed quarterly, eligible for pay increase with solid performance.
