Bench & Hand Grinder, Polisher & Buffer. Workers needed for Full-Time Employment Positions working bench, hand and belt grinder machines, along with buffing wheels. Minimum of 2 years' experience required; 5-10 years preferred. Salary is based on experience. Job Scope: Have the ability to maneuver up to 15 Lb. pieces of material safely against a grinding machine or buff wheel. The end goal is to clean and grind away excess material in steel and other metal castings. Be able to understand and apply various metal finishing techniques to various peripheries and dimensions; creatively apply technique to various intricate parts with all electric and pneumatic finishing tools. This job requires good spatial skills and an eye for detail. We will provide some on-site training. You will have to maintain grinding machines to a basic level of functionality and replace grind belts, wheels and proper utilization of compounds as needed for the job at hand. You will be expected to keep your work area clean by the end of the working day. Position and Requirements: Good physical stamina is required, as the job requires standing for prolonged periods. Experience using air grinders, die grinders, electric grinders, polishing lathes, grinding & Buffing Wheels. Knowledge of reading drawings (blueprints), and precise measurement tools is a bonus. Basic organizational skills Applicant must have transportation.
