Emergency "Dog and Puppy" Fosters Needed

Emergency Fosters Needed for dogs and puppies scheduled to be Uethanized. Long and short term. There is severe over crowding in the Riverside Animal Shelter. 68 dogs are scheduled to be uethanization as of today at this shelter, healthy, friendly, happy dogs young and old, big and small. Of those, 12 are scheduled to be uthanized as of today without further notice unless they are rescued by foster volunteers or adopted. This is business as usual for this shelter, who has to euthanize dogs daily due to over crowding. They just do not have enough room for new dogs, so the ones that have been there the longest are uethanized. Today 10/4/21, at this shelter alone there an additional 173 dogs, 77 cats, and 4 "other" posted on their website for adoption, in addition to those being uethanized. Please help, please volunteer to be a Foster directly with the Shelter or Adopt directly from the Shelter at: rcdas.org Or: https://www.rcdas.org/index.php/foster-care/foster-program-contacts Or Submit your interest to Foster for a Licensed Rescue group which can be found through Facebook group: "Saving Riverside Shelter Dogs" Both will help you along the way. The Riverside Animal Shelter and Rescues also need many Volunteers to play with dogs, transport, take a dog for a weekend home outing, take photos and Admin in posting and networking on Social Media to recruit more volunteers. Other Riverside County Shelters are: CVAC 32 dogs SCHEDULED for uethanasia RIVERSIDE ADOPTIONS - 173 dogs, 77 cats, 2 other COCHELLA ADOPTIONS - 85 dogs, 31 cats, 1 other If you live outside of their area for fostering to rescue one or more of the Riverside County dogs, please call Kara at Apollo ARC Animal Rescue and Care to volunteer. All medical expenses, vacinations, spay/nueter, food, bedding, toys, leash, collar and behavioral training as needed, will be provided for your foster free. You also have ongoing support from the Rescue group. The rescue group will network the fostered dog to find it a forever home, however you have first choice to adopt if you fall in love and want to keep your fur baby.
