I’ve almost been scammed 3 times in past two days. Anyone asking for a deposit before youve seen the animal is most likely a scammer! Do NOT give a deposit via Venmo, or any cash app. If they say people have met and stolen their dog and that’s why they’re asking for a deposit, offer to meet at a police station. Period! If they won’t meet in public, it’s a scam. Beware!
