General Manager – Commercial Roofing Meadville, PA • Oversee daily operations of a growing commercial roofing company • Collaborate with the owner on strategic planning for the future • Track results & provide accountability in key areas such as sales, marketing, financials, customer satisfaction, quality, safety, project timelines, etc. • Assess the profitability of projects upon completion • Ensure proper supervision and allocation of crews and equipment • Visit job sites to meet with customers and collaborate with the crew • Provide leadership by ensuring that the team is growing in the same direction to achieve company goals • Build a cohesive team through careful hiring, training, mentoring, and accountability • Join a faith-based company with a family-friendly work culture & a focus on supporting the local community About Us... Great Lakes Commercial Roofing LLC and our sister company, Keystone Commercial Roofing, LLC, are looking for a General Manager to oversee both divisions. We provide commercial and industrial roof restoration and coatings in Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. We are a team of hard-working, well paid and engaged people. As we protect small, medium, and large businesses from the outside elements, we will do so with integrity and honesty. We will keep people safe and dry while protecting their equipment and assets, thus improving their production and reduce downtime. Great Lakes will be a place that makes a difference in the world. Our Ideal General Manager • Proven Leader: At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role in a construction-related industry. Experience with training, accountability, and hiring. • Experienced: At least 5 years experience in residential or commercial construction in a field such as roofing, remodeling, new construction. Familiar with processes in sales, project management, estimating, etc. • Takes Ownership: High sense of personal responsibility and ability to lead the team to achieve company goals. • Collaborative: Can build trusting relationships with coworkers, customers, and vendors. • Active: While this is primarily an office job, you will visit job sites. You must climb a ladder and work comfortably on top of a flat or low slope roof. • Computer Savvy: Able to efficiently learn and navigate computer software. Including GSuite, Job Nimbus, and Pandadoc. • Safety Focused: Willing to train the team and enforce best practices in construction safety.
