Frameworks is seeking a full-time staff carpenter to join our team in Fort Collins, CO. Staff carpenters are key to providing an unexpectedly great client experience by showing up on time, ready to deliver quality carpentry work. This position is part of a team but will also need to work autonomously. Critical thinking and engaged problem solving is as important as the ability to provide quality work in an efficient and tidy manner. Job Function • Top-notch installations • Framing, interior and exterior finish carpentry, and demo work • Keep workspace clean & safe • Maintain company tools & equipment • Install work that meets Frameworks quality standards • Minimize material waste • Perform tasks assigned by lead carpenter, production manager, and project manager • Safely use general carpentry tools Skill and Qualifications • Flexible thinker with the cognitive adaptability to switch between varying tasks in an efficient manner • Successful communication skills • Interpret plans laid out by lead carpenter • Mark & cut accurately • Lift 50 lbs. • Work in confined spaces & heights • Driver’s license • Reliable transportation • Team player • Efficient work habits • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials • Time management • Minimum of 2 years of general carpentry experience • Must be tooled up • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience timber framing is a plus Required Attitude • Team Player • Problem Solver • Self Actualizing • Detail Oriented • Dedicated • Approachable • Dependable Curious about the work we do?
