Kennel Attendants provide daily care for boarded dogs and assist with kennel maintenance. Responsibilities include: -daily maintenance of kennel building and exercise fields -cleaning dog kennels and runs -bathing -exercising -feeding -monitoring the behavior of boarded dogs Kennel staff will also interact with clients building rapport and quality customer service through daily dog report cards and face-face contact. Kennel attendants may be required to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. They also must be prepared to handle dogs that may be stressed due to being in an unfamiliar environment. Kennel workers always should use caution when feeding, and exercising boarded dogs to minimize the chance of an injury. Kennel Lead Will be required to assist in the above responsibilities and check all duties for the highest quality. Most successful applicants for kennel attendant positions already have prior experience working with animals as pet sitters, veterinary assistants, or dog walkers. Experience with family pets also may count toward a candidate’s prior experience. Fidelis will also train new employees to complete the required daily duties. Positions available 1. Kennel Lead 2. Kennel Assistant Hours available 6:30am- 7:30pm 1. Full time and part time positions Requirements 1. Minimum 18 years old 2. Strong customer service skills 3. Ability to self motivate and work under minimal supervision 4. Reliable transportation 5. Confidence around dogs 6. Strong motivated team player All applicants 1. Will have references checked 2.
