We are hiring for door-to-door political canvassers from now until November 2, 2021. No experience necessary, pay starts at $15 with flexible scheduling. This is a seasonal, part-time position. Canvassers knock doors of targeted voters in targeted residential areas to conduct surveys about voter preferences and intentions ahead of the upcoming election, collecting applications for advanced ballots, and collecting voter registrations. This is a local travel-based profession, and canvassers mainly work outside and in their vehicles in various weather conditions, during daytime and evening hours, both on weekdays and weekends. Canvassers are allowed to sign-up for shifts at their discretion with a preferred minimum of 6+ hours per week. Major Duties & Responsibilities ● Memorize and recite scripts and statements prepared and provided by the employer ● Go door-to-door to survey registered voters on their intentions and preferences regarding the upcoming election, and note the outcomes ● Demonstrate a knowledge of the voter registration, advanced ballot application and voting processes. ● Consistently meet daily and weekly quotas for doors per hour and Advanced Ballot Applications. Minor Duties & Responsibilities • Care for equipment and materials issued for your canvass, returning unused materials in usable condition.
