Job description Job Description Job Title: Operations Team Member Summary: Hey.. Are you looking for something new? Tired of retail? Tired of working in Fast Food? Tired of being bored at work? The Production Team Member is responsible for personalizing items including: urns, jewelry and other memorial products. We are offering a $2000.00 sign-on bonus after 90 days Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Pick products from warehouse and prep items for engraving Cleaning plates and plaques Add finishing touches to engraved items when needed Sort, pick and sandblast rocks (4 sizes), use illustrator to create design, cut, weed and mask rocks Follow all safety measures which include wearing respirator when required and cleaning of sandblasting room and equipment Use additional machines (rotary engraving, laser engraving, embroidery and other) to personalize memorial items Use Corel and Illustrator to set up artwork and text to be engraved Personalize memorials: urns, jewelry, picture pendants and other memorial products Complete daily and quarterly machine and department maintenance Complete assigned management training courses Assist with inventory counts and receiving Minimum Requirements: 40 hours a week OSHA regulations for respiratory ware are required: must pass mandatory evaluation and respiratory seal check (i.e. minimal or no facial hair) Must be highly detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task Ability to lift 30-60lbs continuously, on a daily basis Ability to learn new software programs and machines Ability to work independently and as a team Ability to adapt quickly to changes in a fast paced environment Be willing and eager to work outside of the initial job description Post-Production 8a to 4:30pm Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of 2 + year’s experience preferred. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure and software manuals and work instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with others. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills and Abilities: Must be familiar with current software packages such as MS Office. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None required for this position.
