Job description Delivery Driver This position is responsible driving company vehicles and delivering, setting up customer furniture. Vehicles are 26-foot box trucks. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities - Loads, delivers and sets up customer furniture orders. - Follows delivery notes and keeps in contact with Warehouse Manager and store regarding any delays or discrepancies on deliveries. - Greets and treats every customer with highest quality service. - Treats furniture and customer property with great care. - Sets up and delivers furniture to customers and designer’s specifications. - Conducts final inspection, cleaning and touch up of products in customer’s home to ensure pristine appearance and properly functioning. All packing materials, tools and transport materials cleaned up and removed. - Immediate notification of any damage of furniture or property to store, as well as communicate to customer. - Collects signature on delivery receipt to ensure order is complete and provide proof for delivery. - Remove any agree to items that designer has indicated as being replaced. - Deliver any return items to warehouse or as directed by Warehouse Manager. - Daily maintenance, cleaning and safety checks on delivery vehicles. Other duties as assigned by Warehouse manager. Physical Demands and Special Requirements: Requires the ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull and move 100+ pounds. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires lifting, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires Colorado Driver's license and MVR that meets company policy. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Masks must be worn at all times, as well as foot coverings and gloves while delivering product into customers' homes. Regular sanitation processes apply as well. Cleaning and sanitation products provided by the Company.
