Chip Spinner/Delivery Driver

Ability to operate under minimal supervision, perform chip spinning, recycle oil, and readies metal scrap for disposal/pick up. Accumulate all solid scrap (bar ends and nonconforming parts) from the machines for recycling. Also will be delivering and picking up parts/bar stock using company vehicles. Driving to and from vendors and local customer's facilities for deliveries and pickups. Daily housekeeping duties as needed throughout the shop. Essential Job Functions: 1. Follow well established procedures to collect scrap and chips, spin chips and sort material. 2. If assigned to other production tasks, work under direct supervision of assigned Lead. 3. Support the shop operations by appropriately gathering, spinning, sorting and recycling materials. 4. Receive appropriate training and communicate any issues to the Lead if available, or other Management if not. 5. Must have a valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicles. 6. Daily housekeeping duties as needed. Trash removal and stocking paper supplies as needed. 7. Must wear appropriate hand and eye protection when spinning chips and handling material. 8. Snow removal and outdoor maintenance when needed. Qualifications: 1. Must be able to perform miscellaneous tasks with minimal supervision and complete tasks as needed. 2. Must have a valid driver’s license. 3. Clean driving record is a plus. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
