JOB DESCRIPTION: Our company is seeking a professional general labor to install a pole at a local community association/golf course. Pole installation will be similar to a commercial grade flagpole. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have basic hand tools. Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions. Be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly. Be able to climb ladders and work from a bucket truck. Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned. Reliable & hardworking. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma is an asset Ability to safely equipment Previous experience, especially in particular industry and installing poles. RESPONSIBILITIES: Install (1) pole. Follow safety standards and procedures Ability to follow instructions. Tools Provided at jobsite: 1. PVC sleeve (included with pole) 2. Three 60 lb. bags of concrete mix (approximately) 3. Measuring tape or yard stick 4. Contractor’s level 5. Small rock or coarse gravel. 6. Container/Pail for mixing concrete Labor requirements: Dig a hole approximately 30″ deep by 18″ round. Place 6″ to 8″ of small gravel or crushed rock for drainage on the bottom of the hole. Insert bolt in sleeve, place sleeve in hole. Surround sleeve with cement. Place level inside of the sleeve to see that it is level. Set and cure overnight.
