CRAFT BEER COLLABORATION TO BENEFIT LAS CRUCES NONPROFIT (Oct 4th, 2021) -- The Mesilla Valley Homebrew Club and Truth or Consequences Brewing Company have come together to create a new beer to benefit La Casa, a Las Cruces nonprofit whose mission is to support those affected by domestic violence. On Saturday October 9th, beer lovers and friends of La Casa, Inc. will celebrate the release of the new beer from 3-5PM at the brewery’s taproom in Las Cruces at 2001 E. Lohman #115. Representatives of La Casa will be on hand to discuss their mission and projects. The brewery will donate $1 from every sale of this beer, until the batch is gone. This spring, the club and the brewery explored ways that their shared love of craft beer could provide a benefit to the local community. This summer, members of the club brewed beers for a contest, and the brewery judged the entries. Tim Nuccio and Sharon Going’s beer won the contest and got the chance to help the brewery brew a 400-gallon batch in Truth or Consequences. The beer is called “Bad Bully Pale Ale”, after Tim’s bulldog Odin. It’s an American Pale Ale, deep gold, citrus-hoppy, and available in both taprooms starting today.
