You are passionate about pets, therefore you like to be around pets and their people! You are concerned with and motivated by providing healthy preventative options for pets! You are eager to inform customers about Dee-O-Gee products and services and how they may help improve the life of their dog or cat. You are able to complete daily sales transactions with accuracy and integrity. You are eager to be a contributing part of the Dee-O-Gee retail team, including daily tasks and product stocking not related directly to customer interaction. PEOPLE WOULD DESCRIBE YOU AS: * Enthusiastic * Proactive * Intuitive * Passionate * Team player * Reliable * Honest * Fun Your Experience: 1) You have specialty retail experience and/or experience in a fast paced work environment. 2) You have experience working as a team member. 3) You have experience in the Pet industry and handling animals. 4) You have the sales and customer service skills. As a Pet Retail Product Expert, your responsibilities include: 1) Provide complete product knowledge and solutions for our clients - we are here to promote healthy pets. 2) Having knowledge in ailments that commonly occur to pets in order to provide the best product recommendation. 3) Advocate for the health and well being of dogs and cats. 4) Have personal experience with products and your own pets. 5) Interact with Vets, organizations and groups throughout the community. 6) Complete the Perfect Purchase - interact on a personal level with clients, input client names, ring up the correct product & thank the client. 7) Process each transaction with accuracy and observe details. 8) Stock retail shelves in the morning, mid-day and evening. 9) Unpack products, sticker and re-ticketing when price changes occur. 10) Complete daily tasks on the Retail Pet Product Expert Task List. 11) Maintain clean and orderly work environment. 12) Provide a unique and amazing customer experience by greeting every client, engaging with them in a personal way and helping them find the Perfect Purchase. 13) Participate in special events when needed. 14) Organize and maintain product placement. 15) Advocate for the company while at work and outside of work. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to lift 50lbs.
