$18 Per Hour + Benefits Summary The Preventive Maintenance Technician is accountable to ensure point-of-sale equipment at assigned customer sites is maintained within manufacturer’s guidelines and any hardware issues identified are appropriately reported. The technician will clean equipment, perform hardware diagnostics as directed, and perform troubleshooting on hardware issues. The Preventive Maintenance Technician is also required to provide timely and accurate documentation and photographs of service performed at each customer site. Responsibilities A Preventive Maintenance Technician at TRUNO will: Report to assigned customer sites at a scheduled time, document the preventive maintenance process with photographs and checklists, accurately document preventive maintenance assignment completions, and accurately and completely describe issues with customer equipment, Interact with customer personnel and Truno team in an easy-to-understand and positive manner, Maintain ability to work regular hours, as well as after-hours availability when needed, Be willing to travel when needed, typically within a 150—mile radius, limited overnight travel, Responsible to clean, troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test to verify proper functionality of any in-store equipment assigned to service, Able to use tools, including basic power tools, in the performance of assigned duties, Organized, well prepared, and maintain appearance and professional conduct, Maintain strict confidentiality, and adhere to company policies, Adherence to specific deadlines and timelines, Accountable and responsible to maintain / and for the approved use only of company provided vehicle, company credit card / fuel and fleet maintenance card, Netbook PC, tools and test equipment, as well as any additional company provide resources, Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment assigned for preventive maintenance, Pass a drug screen, background check, and driving record check, and Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed Qualifications A Preventive Maintenance Technician at TRUNO should have: Education Any combination of technical school / practical experience Experience Minimum 1 years of experience in information technology service Familiarity with Windows, and Microsoft Office Practical experience with electronics / technology hardware Skills & Knowledge Exceptional customer service orientation Basic break / fix computer skills Excellent oral and written communication, including communicating in a way that a non-technical end user and/or Team members and Managers can understand Ability to think, learn, and solve problems quickly Adhere to established company safety policies and procedures in the workplace Maintain ability to work a flexible schedule Confidentiality and integrity Detail oriented Organizational skills Able to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team About TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions: For more than 40 years, Truno has been partnering with grocery retailers to identify the technologies they need to help them navigate an industry that’s ever-changing and increasingly competitive.
